WEEKLY UPDATES: HOLIDAY WEEKEND

PicMonkey Collage-MAY 26 UPDATES LOGO

Good morning! Today’s post will link up to The Sunday Salon, The Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves, for weekly updates.

**Mailbox Monday is hosted at the home site: Mailbox Monday.

And let’s join Kathryn, our leader in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?, at Book Date.

Happy holidays, for those who are celebrating.  The week has been lovely, allowing some time out on the patio to work on my laptop or read.  I read and reviewed THREE books this week, and brought my total to 35 for the Read the Books You Buy Challenge.

I’ll be reading some review books next week, so I’m excited to finally be able to enjoy some of my NetGalley ARCs, as well as a Vine book.

I started watching Season II of Bloodline last night…and plan to binge-watch some more today.

Let’s grab some caffeine and get started on the weekend!

LET’S CURL UP WITH SOME BOOKISH DREAMS…

reading in rstaurants

The scene above conjures up lovely moments in life…a cup of coffee or tea, a good book, and a pile of books waiting.  All while catching a glimpse of the outdoors.

I often love visiting restaurants to read and have food or drink…or both.  Usually I don’t have a window view, but sometimes I am fortunate enough to have all of these lovely elements.

Would today be a day to take myself over to such a place to read?

I also have some coupons for Barnes & Noble, so I am tempted to go there as well.  They have a coffee shop on site.  And a bargain table.

When I go to a restaurant or even the coffee shop, I always take Pippa, my Kindle.  Today I am alternating between reading Lila and A Fatal Grace.

And…as you all know, the whole library comes with me, so I can start reading Lies & Other Acts of Love,  or Breakdown.

So…what will it be on this lovely Spring day?

Who am I kidding?  I will probably spend the morning curled up here (below)..and take myself out in the afternoon.
