It’s time to look back at August! I read more pages this month than the previous ones, but I read one less book than in July. There were so many books to love…so it was hard to choose favorites.
Check in at The Book Date, to see what others have read and enjoyed.
Here are my favorites, despite how difficult it was to choose:

Not surprised by the mystery/thrillers numbers! I think I’d like to try Karin Slaughter’s book but perhaps I’ll watch out for it from the library.

Thanks for stopping by, Kathryn, and I wasn’t surprised about the number of mystery/thrillers that I read, either! I was a little surprised that there were a few others from the more mainstream genres.
I hope you enjoy Karin Slaughter…this book definitely held me hostage throughout, making the pages speed by. I hardly noticed that there were 528 pages!

I keep seeing Karin’s book around and I think I missed out on that one since most bloggers loved it. I hope you enjoyed Mary Jane’s book.
Have a wonderful September and happy reading.

Thanks for visiting, Diana, and I definitely enjoyed Mary Jane’s book, too, and I have loved every Slaughter book I’ve read so far. Have a great weekend.
