MONTHLY WRAP-UP: GOODBYE TO SEPTEMBER!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Hello, and welcome to October!  Here’s hoping that we all have a great reading month.  September didn’t start picking up for me until well into the month, so my totals were not as good as last month.

I did have some enjoyable reads, however; click on the titles to read my reviews.

Check in at Kathryn’s The Book Date to see others’ wrap-up posts.

  1. You had visitors so that cut your usual reading down. Pretending to Dance was so good, I was just reading an interview with her on the Huff Post, interesting to get a little background info. Love the title of Scared Scriptless! Clever.

    1. Yes, that is true, Kathryn…and then it took a while after they left to stop feeling sad….

I loved Pretending to Dance…I must check out that interview!

Alison Sweeney’s books are fun and a real insider’s peek into the Hollywood world.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. The beginning of September was a bit sluggish for me too. Mostly because of our new school schedule, but I was able to meet my reading goals! 🙂 You read far more books than I did; that’s for sure! I’ve been reading glowing reviews Pretending to Dance, I’m curious now.

Wishing you all the best for October!

  3. Any amount of books that we get to read is good for us. You might feel you read less books, but you certainly had some very good selections! Pretending to Dance, Scared Scriptless, House of Glass, Driving Lessons, all are on my radar and look good to me. Glad you enjoyed all your books this month.

    1. I agree, Rita, and I loved all of my books this month…not a “dud” among them. I was still distracted even after my kids left, however…missing them and sorting out the house.

This week was a good one…and I am savoring my books. But I am also distracted by Fall TV shows…LOL.
